Is it possible to use a VGA to DVI adapter for the DVI to Mini DVI adapter? The DVI to Mini DVI adapter does not have the 4 extra pins slot that the DVI adapter have. Will blending the 4 pins(so it could fit into the mini DVI adapter) still work?

The Mini DVI-DVI adapter is a DVI-D cable meaning no analog signal will work through it. If you want VGA, you'll have to have a mini-DVI to VGA adapter.

ahh..I see. Its just a pain having to unplug my DVI cable from my PC to the MB.
