Can anyone tell me if the VGA adaptor is able to mirror the screen like the HDMI adapter can? The VGA version is much more appealing to me so that I can make presentations and such as most projectors that I deal with don't have HDMI.

No it can not, true Mirroring is only available through HDMI... which s*cks because at work all I have is an epson projector, I don't have the luxury of being able to have a TV with HDMI at work.... go figure..

Maybe I should try to sell my employer that I NEED a TV with HDMI cause' Apple requires it..

I typed in google 'vga adapter ipad'. It was the first result.

Yes it does.

From the Apple store:

Put your slides, movies, photos, and everything else that fills your iPad 2 screen on an even bigger screen — a VGA-equipped TV, monitor or external projector for video mirroring. The Apple VGA Adapter mirrors exactly what you see on iPad 2 so that everyone in the room can enjoy it.
