I am trying to find a VGA Adapter that could connect to all Macbooks, meaning it could connect to a Macbook and a Macbook Pro. The problem is I'm not sure if they sell those. If they don't know, how do I know which Adapters to get? I've looked but none really say a specific kind of Mac and it does matter right? And the year the Macbook is brought matters to which adapter you get too right? So that's where I'm lost.

This is going to be used in the offic, so basically it could be used on a variety of Macbooks, ranging from a Macbook to a Macbook Pro, some bought three years others bought last year or others bought months ago(my macbook pro was bought last week...)

So yeah, how does the VGA thing work, haha...

The white and black MacBooks, before becoming Unibody, use a MiniDVI video out.
The white and Aluminium Unibody MacBook use Mini DisplayPort.
The Aluminium MacBook Pros, before becoming Unibody, use a full size DVI port.
The Unibody MacBook Pros use the Mini DisplayPort.

Therefore you need different adapters.

Mini DisplayPort to VGA Adapter
MB572_AV1

Apple Mini DVI to VGA Adapter
M9320_AV3

Apple DVI to VGA Display Adapter
M8754_AV3

Btw, you can look on www.monoprice.com for cheaper versions of the above adapters.

Thanks so much.

So the Macbook Unibody and the Macbook Pro unibody can use the same adapter?
