I have just bought a 20" VGA Monitor with a resolution of 1680 x 1050 pixels. I'm waiting for the Mini-DVI to VGA adapter to arrive.

But I have read something worrying - it can only output 1600 x 1200 maximum over VGA, is this true?

Does anyone have a monitor like the HP W2007V? And can it run at it's native resolution?

Thanks

Seeing how 1600x1200 is a higher resolution (in terms of total pixels, 1,920,000 vs 1,764,000) than 1680x1050, you should be fine.

I hope you are right, that's one way of reading it, 1680 x 1050 < 1600 x 1200. Although you could interpret it as 1680 > 1600 therefore it won't work.

I hope the former is correct.

@pellets007: I have a 2.16 13" MacBook White, so I assume those are the specs.
