what connector is better to get for a jailbroken 1st gen IPad? i would like to be able to mirror with it and play video, thanks!

only the iPad 2 will do 1080p out, so if you plan on using this on the first generation iPad and if the jailbreak doesn't do 1080p out, then their is no advantage in getting the HDMI adapter.

this, either way you should buy hdmi.

most tv's have hdmi, not all have vga and hdmi has audio.

If I may ask, with AirPlay why do you need the hdmi cable if you cannot get HD on it?

Due to limitations of the airplay I presume?

Doesn't Airplay only let you view content on a TV if you have an Apple TV? Maybe they would like to buy just a cable and not an Apple TV?
