Now that I have my new macbook pro I want to be able to hook it up to my monitor and tv. My monitor only has vga and dvi on it and my tv has hdmi and vga. My question is which cable would be better to get? The mono price mdp to hdmi cable or a mdp to vga cable. From what I understand I can get 1080p out of both? Or am I wrong. Someone please help explain what the difference between these two cables would be.

Oh and if I do go the hdmi route, I will also plan on buying a hdmi to dvi converter. That way I can hook it up to my computer monitor as well.
