Coverting home movies to digital.
-Using Mac Pro Desktop
-Final cut express
-datavideo-dc-100 coverter
-VCR player
When capturing footage, timecode sync breaks and capture screen freezes. I have to escape and I loose my place since the VCR continues to play.
(have deslected all time code options, like abort when time code breaks)
Swtiched to IMOVIE
would capture video all the way through, with a few hich-ups during capture,
when I replayed the footage, small chucks were missing, and the audio was slightly off.
Any recomendations on how to get the VHS to get captured from begining to end without the capturing sezing up in Final cut?
Would I want to move the VHS to another VHS so the "time code" would be solild or will the hich-ups just be transfered to another VHS.
I know alot of people have issues with VHS digitization, but any recomendations would be appricated.
