From doing some web browsing, I've found that Panther breaking certain parts of ViaVoice seems to be common, but most people find that the basic dictation capabilities seem to remain functional. I, on the other hand, seem to have a completely non-functional install going. When I updated to Panther, I left ViaVoice off my computer for a while. Now, I've tried to reinstall ViaVoice with the intent of doing some basic dictation (the only thing that I've ever really used it for). However, when I try to run ViaVoice (Setup Assistant, VoiceCenter, etc.), I get an error of 'NoArbitrationServer'. Does anyone have any idea what this means? Is there any hope that I might get the dictation capabilities up and running? (I currently have little confidence in ScanSoft, the company that IBM sold ViaVoice to, as to the possibility of them putting out an update any time soon.)
