I downloaded Vibra for ios4 on cydia but it crashed while installing.

it still DID change the vibrations to 3 - so it installed well enough to do that.

however, I try to uninstall and I get an error in cydia. If i exit out of cydia and go back, it still shows the uninstalling screen but says complete at the top. I return to cydia and it is as if it uninstalled successfully.

BUT i still have the 3 vibrations. I have tried reinstalling and uninstalling again, but keep getting the same errors.

it is really irritating and I want to get the vibrations back to normal.

any help?

Try reinstalling, phone off, phone on, uninstall, phone off, phone on.
Worked for me once when i change vibrations

-- UPDATE
removed some repos that seemed to be causing issues regularly and that fixed my install/uninstall issues

Do you mean: asVibra 2 for 4.0

That is the package that gives you 3 vibrations.

Anyway, the package appears to install this file:

/System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/Celestial.framework/SystemSoundVibrationPatterns.plist

The original file appears to be moved here:

/System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/Celestial.framework/SystemSoundVibrationPatterns_orig.plist

So, to eliminate the three vibrations, you want to replace the first file with the second keeping the name of the first file.

These files bear that information out:

/private/var/lib/dpkg/info/de.sendowski.asvibra240.list
/private/var/lib/dpkg/info/de.sendowski.asvibra240.postrm
/private/var/lib/dpkg/info/de.sendowski.asvibra240.prerm
