Vibrate not working on my iPhone 3g

Hi,
I have unlocked and JailBroken 3g iPhone.

My iPhone is not getting vibrated.

Mac Repair shop has checked and they found everything good as far as hardware is concern.

Does any application cause the problem?

Please help....

I remember this happening to my wife's old 3G. It is a known problem that sometimes the vibrate mechanism gets stuck. Try tapping the back of the iphone a few times. This worked for her.
