Vidalia and Snow Leopard

Under Snow Leopard neither Firefox nor Safari can connect to the Tor proxy although Vidalia seems to work and Tor connects to the network. Installing the latest Vidalia bundle (0.2.2.1-alpha) does not help. Can you reproduce the error? Any ideas for a solution?

I tried it yesterday and I did even manage to run Vidalia It just crashes when I launch it.

EDIT: ah the 0.2.2.1-alpha runs but the Tor button also doesn't work

I've just tried with he 0.2.4 but no success
