Vidbox into quicktime?

Just picked up a Vidbox from amazon. Was hoping Quicktime could see it as an input source, but no luck. However, quicktime does see it as an an audio source... which makes me think it *should* be possible to get it working as a video source as well... any ideas on how to go about doing that?

I don't like the idea of using the vidbox software. Would rather be able to go directly into a different app and select this as a camera source.

(And if it's not possible with the vidbox, does anyone know of a different solution which will allow me to do this?)

UPDATE: after a few hours of trying various programs and not finding anything that worked, I emailed their support... and got a response almost immediately. Have to give them props on their support team... though, he was not able to help. He told me they designed the product to work their their software and don't support 3rd party stuff... which is what I suspected he would say.

Guess I'll be returning this to Amazon, since it doesn't fit my needs.
