Hi,
I was streaming a TV show on catchup in Firefox on my iMac (running El Capitan 10.11.6) and when the video ended I returned to the login screen using the quick user switching on the menubar.
Shortly after the audio started blaring out of the iMac internal speakers. It turns out the next episode autoplayed but I was very surprised that the audio even played at all on the login screen because normally music and audio immediately stops when returning to the login screen.
What is even more surprising is that the audio from the video continues playing even when I switch to another user account. Definitely not what I would call expected behaviour and I have not seen this occur with any other apps or sources of audio.
I understand that music will continue playing even when your account auto locks after certain time but that is different then returning to the main login screen.
Anyone else notice this? I wonder whether it occurs on newer version of macOS and whether this is isolated to Firefox only?
Thanks
