Hi everyone! I am having trouble syncing iPad video and recorded audio through an external microphone when I am in iMovie. I am recording audio into Logic Pro X. The video is being recorded on an iPad. When I open them in iMovie and try to line both up, the audio seems to finish faster than video. It usually is quicker by about 2 seconds or soon about a 3-5 minute clip. I am guessing it is some sort of setting in Logic. Does anyone know why this is happening? Thanks!

I wonder if there's a mix-up somewhere between 30fps and 29.97fps. No idea how to look into that (let alone fix it) with iMovie, but the short-yet-noticeable timing mismatch you mentioned sounds like it might be caused by that.

You could try one of the following:
Tweak the speed of the video in iMovie to run slightly faster.
Split the audio track into sections and nudge them to sync.

Thank you to you both! I'll have an opportunity later this week to try that out at work (pending the snow I might be getting). I will report back once I play with it!
