Video blogging software..?

I'm planning to create a channel on youtube to vlog.

I'm just not sure what software to use to capture video from my webcam, edit the video, etc..

I've already tried Adobe Encore and it works fine but I'm not so comfortable with it for recording. I'd mainly use it for editing but not capturing the video.

Any advice?

iMovie. It should handle all you need for YouTube and it doesn't cost much. It's what I use.
