Morning all,

I exported a video out of FCP into compressor and compressed for DVD.
Imported into DVD Pro. I figured this application out and burned to a DVD-R. When I play it on my Macbook Pro it is fine, when I try to play on a TV it says " Incorrect Disk"

What am I doing wrong here?

Thanks

You might not be doing anything wrong. That sounds like your DVD player can't read the disc for some reason (unfortunately burned DVDs are still a bit of a crap shoot...the odds are better and better but sometimes you don't have a good match of laser and media). It might simply be a bad burn for your player, or you're using DVD-R when it only likes DVD+R, or the machine is several years old and can't read the disc.

Another possibility is that you recorded it in PAL (longshot, I know) and your computer can read it no problem but your player doesn't.

Try it in somebody else's machine and see if it works.
