I'm looking to buy a new video camera, HD of course, 1080p would be nice. I need to stay under $1,000 because this is for fun intermediate filming, mainly a portable camera. Though I use FC so looking for a camera that works great like my old Sony FireWire hook up. I know lots have changed on cameras exporting.
Stores are somewhat limited in my price range so any suggestions would be great.
