hey guys,

I'm looking for a good video capture card for capturing video from old vhs and also live feeds through my vcr's composite video out ports... i just bought grabber, but when it captures the video, there are a whole bunch of lines across the captured video (as though it needs to be deinterlaced) and the quality (on h.264 compression) is pretty terrible.... i just want a clean video feed.... the LeMans 24 hour race is on this weekend, and i would REALLY like to capture it live so i don't have to deal with the inherent quality degradation of pulling it off of a VHS. am i doing something wrong with the iGrabber? if not can anyone please suggest a nice capture device (preferably not too expensive).

as a side note, i used to use video capture with a windows version dazzle, and the quality was pretty terrible too... PLEASE HELP!!

thanks a lot guys,
Z
