Video Capture Device Needed for Mac

I am looking for a device that will allow me to connect my video camera to my Mac and be able to import the video to convert to digital media.

I was looking at this device from Pinacle, but it is for a windows based system?

That's Software, I need a physical device to connect my camera to and then connect that to my Mac???

So all you want to do is import your video files from your camera to your Mac is what you are saying? What kind of a camera is it/what's its model number?

Elgato has something like this or I know its a little more expensive but this works.
