I'm running Windows 7 on a 15" Late 08 macbook pro with 9400M/9600M GT. I'm aware that only 9600 can run on window os, but when I download the latest driver for it (9600M GT) from Nvidia, I got an error message saying "nvidia could not locate any drivers that are compatible with your current hardware", then I have to go back to bootcamp 2.1, and manually install the video card driver.
My question is:
1. How can I fix the problem when I install the latest geforce (186.81 I think) from Nvidia site.
2. Is there a great difference of performance and compatibility between the old driver from bootcamp 2.1 and new Nvidia driver? (I do plenty of gaming on windows)
3. If 186.81 doesn't work in all 08 Macbook Pro, do they have newer driver on snow leopard's bootcamp 3.0, and should I buy one only for the driver?

Thanks a lot
