I've a macPro 2 GHz Dual-Core Intel Xeon with the NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT video card.

Lately i'm playing alot of World of warcraft and was thinking to upgrade my video card. A friend has the XFX GeForce 8600GT 540M 256MB GDDR3, PCI-Express, 2xDVI, 540/1400Mhz over, so i was wondering if it's possible to instal this.

I searched the internet for an answer but some say yes, others no so...

And if it's not possible can you recoment a good video card for games?

Thx

It won't work in Mac OS X out of the box you would have to flash it with a Mac ROM first.

Although I believe it will work in Windows just not OS X without flashing.

Ok now I know abit more, thx ;)

But can you direct me to some 'how to' guide about flashing?

Is this card the hassel worth? Or do I just buy an other one? (This 1 I got for free)
