I've searched around quite a bit on the site, am recent newbie, so apologies if my lameness is too apparent. I have a 2008 Mac Pro 2.8 quad running 10.5, eventually to 10.6. I need a video card, and have found the online Mac stores woefully unhelpful. The information I read in forums just leave me even more confused. I'm not a gamer, this is to power an Apple Cinema and a Samsung HD, and hopefully a non HD old-style tube TV if it has a S-video out as well as 2 DVI's.I'm also wondering why this is such a difficult topic to get basic information on whether a card will work in my system or not. I can't think of another peripheral that causes to much confusion. Thanks.
