video card + video production

hey, im just about to get a new G5 to update my editing suite..

I will be getting a BTO and one of the things I may be upgrading is the video card. I was wondering if anyone could tell me of any major differences between the options i have :

ATI Radeon 9600 128mb
ATI Radeon 9650 128mb
ATI Radeon x850 XT 256mb
NVIDIA GeForce 6800 GT 256mb

any of these will sure be and upgrade over my current GeForce2 MX but what is the difference between all these cards (other than the obvious 128vs256).

I dont do any gaming what so ever by the way.

The latter two support the 30" ACD I believe, otherwise they are also faster. The 850 looks to be the best of the lot.

thanks for your reply.. i wont be getting a 30".. most likely dual displays, 17s or 19s or 20s (not apple displays though)

Just get something with 256mb on it. If you use Motion or Photoshop at all you will benefit from it.
