I am back again with another question. I previously asked about DVD burner compatibility. My primary reason for getting a DVD burner was to burn clips made with my digital camera. I do not need it for backup or storage. I would be happy with Video CD's.
Has anyone out there used Mireth Mac SVCD software? Is there other software as good or better? Is there native capability in Mac OS for making Video CD's? Any recommendations gratefully received.

Thanks, John

I can recommend Toast. It's easy as eating pie :) Just drag video clips to area. Insert blank cd. Press burn.

Put in a home DVD player .. and bob's your uncle! It works

If your looking for more flexability than toast, I'd recomend FFMpeg. Really nice and powerful program. With it you can make a bin/cue file that toast can burn, useful if you have a clip that Quicktime can't play as Toast uses Quicktime to encode, therefore if Quicktime can't play your clip then Toast can't burn it.
