I am going to summer camp next week. We are not allowed to bring laptops or computers, but maybe iPads. Although, since the camp is long, I would like to video chat (through AIM or facetime) with my friends and family.

I have an iPhone 3GS with a two year contract set to expire the end of next year, so I can not get an iPhone 4. If I were to jailbreak my iPhone 3GS, is there any way that I could video chat using an external camera or the camera on the back?

Also, is there any way I could video chat using an external camera on my jailbroken iPad?

Thanks for your help.

You are camping for fun? Even though you aren't getting an iPhone 4? Why?

Or being from the uk am I totally misinterpreting the information you are telling us? Lol.
