Hi,

What is the most efficient video compression format (saving space wise)

Thank You

Kind Regards

Richard Sowler

H.264, aka MPEG4, part 10. I assume you're interested in "saving space" with the best quality.

Yes, thank you.

Also what is a good quality frame rate?
What's your application? For movies, you want to stick to the original, i.e. 30 fps for video origin and 24 fps for film origin. Sounds like that's not what you're doing, however.

i have a situation that requires an answer to a similar question...
...i have a 5gb file that i converted (using Quicktime) to mpeg-4, and it finished at a bit less than 900mb...which as you know is just beyond the limits of a cd-r.
So peoples, how i size it down just a bit without losing too much quality?
Thanks in advance....
