Video conferencing help?

Hey everyone. I figured I would give this a try, and see if anyone would be willing to help me out with an issue I am having with my iMac G5 by using iChat video conferencing.

Here is the problem:

I have several movie files on my hard drive that will not play audio any more. There are also a couple of movies on the internet that I have come accross that will not play audio either. Most issues are with Quicktime, others with Macromedia's Flash player.

I have no idea what is going on. I have a feeling it is related to issues I was having with iTunes 7. I have since downgraded to iTunes 6, and I did not have these audio issues before hand.

Apple is refusing to help me with this issue, and my local Apple Store thought they had the issue fixed I was having with iTUnes 7, but they obviously didn't since I Have downgraded.

If anyone is willing to video with me, that would be great. I feel as if that is the easiest way to figure out what is going on. I have a MacBook Pro that I would be using to get the help via iChat.

Yes they work in VLC, and yes I have Perian installed.

But I don't want to use VLC. And VLC doesn't solve the issues that I am experiencing on the internet.

I wish all problems were fixed that easily.

If you have any idea why iTunes 7 keeps crashing on my iMac (and not my MacBook Pro) that would be greatly appreciated...

Brief description: The program crashes when switching between songs, either on its own or when I advance to the next track. It also crashes (sometimes) when first opened, and then I double click a song file. It plays about two seconds, then gone.

I have a feeling this is simply a bug within the program, but you never know.

Probably not, actually.

Post the last (full) entry of it's crashlog as a attachment and I'll take a look.
 
Not sure what I am doing wrong, but it will not allow me to upload the iTunes.crash.log file to the forum. I'll try and save it as a .doc and see if that works.


Edit:

Tried that, but it says the attachment is too large. Let me know what I can do to get you the crash log.
