Video contrast/brightness on integrated graphics issue

Hi all. I'm hoping someone will be able to help me out.

I'm almost certain this has only started happening since upgrading to Mavericks.

When watching a video on my 2012 cMBP using the integrated graphics only, after the controls fade off of the screen the contrast and brightness of the video dims down and looks really dark. When I move the cursor and bring the controls back the video appears normal again.

However, when forcing the cMBP to use the graphics card I have no issues with any video. Only happens with integrated.

Has anyone else had a similar issue?

I'm still seeing this issue and wondered has anyone else came across it?

Happens in iTunes and Quicktime. It's almost like it is automatically adjusting the display to make the video look better.
