Video Conversion Question

I know the 3gs is only a few days old - but...

Is there any app which can do in camera conversion of video? I wanted to shoot some video and upload to server so that it can stream. Right now - the 3gs shoots in .mov - but not for streaming.

If I upload to me.com, it converts to a smaller file and if I download from there, the file is a streaming .mov - but I was hoping to eliminate as many steps as possible...

QuickTime Pro will allow you to export the video into a variety of formats, along with a streaming-capable version of a .mov.. I believe

Yes.. I'm aware..

My desire, though is to do something IN camera and upload (via an ftp app) versus having to download, convert, re-upload - esp if I am somewhere without a computer.

that iphone can do it - it does it before uploading to me.com. I'm just wondering when and if an app will come out that doesn't require uploading to me.com and instead either resaves the file or allows you to send it anywhere
