I want to post videos on youtube.com. Have a Sony camcorder. Need to get video from camcorder into Final Cut Pro 7 and then onto youtube.com. Spent all day yesterday with Iskysoft video converter (no support from them) and would appreciate a legitimate software to help me. I would be eternally grateful for help.

Try MPEGStreamclip. It's one of the recommended ones, and takes in most formats.

The normal way, though, would be to import your camcorder footage direct into FCP(or iMovie), and then export from there. There should be no need to convert first.
