Hey whats good video converter for the iPhone which will convert almost all formats and I prefer it would be free but I don't mind if I have to pay for it. Thanks

handbrake works great for making dvd's into mp4s.

I have used handbrake on a few occasions, but I prefer ffmpegX.

I like iSquint for anything that isn't a DVD (ie: downloads) because it automatically adds the file to iTunes.

Visual Hub is pretty good (previously iSquint).

It's pretty un-usable without buying the full version, but works great.

The best combination is Mac the Ripper plus Handbrake.

Use Mac the Ripper to copy the disk to your hard drive, and then convert to H.264 with Handbrake. It's faster than ripping and converting on the fly directly from the optical drive.

Hey what do i change the movie to because i tried isquint and changed it to mp4 but it wouldnt play on my iphone so i downloaded ffmpegx and im not sure what to convert it to...

ffmpegx has iPod and iPod for tv settings. I usually use the for tv to get a little better quality.
