Video converting app similar to visual hub?

I'm looking for a video conversion app similar to Visual Hub. I used that a couple of years ago and it worked great. It allowed me to very easily convert .flv video to .mp4 and could even stitch videos together. I also need to convert the occasional .mkv for use on my ipad.

Any suggestions?

Yeah, I use handbrake for re-encoding my BD rips. Not quite as user friendly as visual hub for large batch conversions. And I can't see where to stitch videos together?
