Video distortion on chrome and some other apps

This started after the latest Catalina update on the 16" mbp And the noisiness exists for full other pages on chrome, and also shows up in some games. Driver or hardware?

oh no, this is now happening on the replacement unit. its showing up in chrome and a game. anyone else have this problem? and it only starts after using it for at least 3 weeks.
 
still an issue, here it is on news.google.com, i think i'm ready for an integrated only video card..
