I have a Dell S3220DGF monitor that I used to use with a PC and it always looked really good. I plugged into my Mac mini with both a usb c to DP cable as well as with an HDMI cable and I get this odd video distortion that's only noticeable when I'm playing a video or when I'm moving a window around. It's like there's these diagonal lines that appear, more noticeable about white objects. It's extremely annoying. It's very hard to capture (doesn't show up if I do a screen recording). I tried recording my screen with my phone. in the first picture which was grabbed while I was moving a window, you can kind of see there's more uniform diagonal lines... in the picture below it, which was taken without any window movement, there's more grid like pattern (which looks normal to me). Any suggestions? I plugged in another one of my dell monitors and it doesn't exhibit this behavior.

I have the same monitors and have not noticed an issue. Given that you tried another monitor that would seem to eliminate the cable.
