Video Download apps...most dont work

Was using Clipgrab...then they got message to update...I did it and now it is DEAD....So many free video download apps are seriously flawed...does anyone know an app that ACTUALLY works and is totally Free...not just free to download and then pay...nothing in App Store.

Naturally, your earlier version of clip grab is backed up in Time Machine?

Movie makers, YouTube content producers etc. hate these Apps and file DMCA lawsuits over them all the time.
No matter which App you use, sooner or later there'll be a lawsuit, and the App will stop being updated, or get one final update, that does not work. It's been this way forever.

Yeah, the death of these apps is seldom nice. When you find another that works, stick a copy of the installer on a USB stick, and put it away somewhere.
