Video Downloader App Problem

Hi,

Currently I use Downloads Lite in order to download tv/movies to my iPad and iPhone, and then watch them on the TV using a Lightning Digital AV Adapter. However, I've discovered that using this app causes the display to be presented in a 4:3 format.

If someone could instruct me on how to fix this issue, or even recommend a similar app that will display in full screen I would be very appreciative.
