I have a 2010 11in MacBook air with 2gb of ram and a 64 gb SSD. Will I be able to edit my videos with iMovie? Btw it is a 1.4ghz CPU

It will be pretty slow, but it is doable.

Biggest factor will be the types of videos you are wanting to edit. Back when I had my 2009 Mini, which is similar on the processor side, more ram, but slower disc. I'd edit some HD video from my miniDV.

I upload 1+gb videos to YouTube and edit them and on my pc it takes like 2hrs from start of filming to exporting. So I'm used to slowness

It won't be ideal but it's certainly doable. People have been editing movies for over a decade, and most used slower hardware.
I think as computers progress we become much less tolerant to any delays.
