Hi. I am a artist who uses imovie and finalcut pro. imovie is not enough and finalcut pro is way too much. i heard their is a happy medium out there and it may even be free. any suggestions? what i mostly use in final cut is layering images and sound and controlling all the things you can do in imovie, but more precisely. yay apple.

I use a combination of Blender (for NLE) and iMovieHD. Blender is extraorindary software for the price.
