Hello, I am new to Mac and have a Macbook Pro. I cant for the life of me get into iMovie.

I just make small videos for youtube or like to edit my home movies that i import.

I normally use Sony Vegas for Windows and love the way it is setup ( totally different then iMovie )

I was wondering if there is a video editing program like Sony Vegas but for Mac?

Final Cut Express looks like what i need, but i am a bit worried about laying down 200.00 to test drive it, If i dont like it i am out of 200.00 ( do they offer a free trial? )

Is there anything else out there?

thanks

There is no free trial for final cut express, however short of final cut studio it will be your best option out there on a Mac. Adobe offers a trial for premier, but I have never used it before and therefore do not offer any recommendation on it.
