Hi,

I have a 2010 Macbook Pro, and I'm trying to edit some dvds a coach gave to me. However, I am unable to "rip" the information form them. It shows up in a VIDEO_TS, and VIDEO_RM file, but i can't open them. I also tried on a windows system, and didn't have any luck there either. Does anyone know what program I could use, or if its even possible?

Maybe these can help?

A more descriptive and precise thread title will help cater to the right audience and get you more adequate responses. (see rule #3 under How do I get help with a hardware or software problem)
To edit your thread title, just click on the

button on the bottom right of your original post and then click the "Go Advanced" button below your message.
Have you also taken a look at MRoogle, since that question may have been asked several times?

It sounds as if your trying to rip a VCD. Try taking all the video files from the mpegav (all the format's will be .dat though) folder. And then handbrake those to m4v, and then you'll be able to edit them.
