video file issues

I have a folder of videos in mp4 format. I am trying to burn them to a dvd to watch in a dvd player. I've tried roxio toast and it refused to encode the videos. imovie acts like it will import the files but nothing shows up. Then i tried idvd and it got a 1/4 of the way through and then froze up.

Here are the properties:

I can burn these files as a data disc and it plays fine in a ps3 but i'd like to have them in dvd format.

Any help would be appreciated.
