I am using for capture Premiere CS3 (PC) and i whant to sent the files for editing to Final cut (Mac) .
Which is the best format for export?
when i sent *.avi files, audio-video sincronization is lost and if I sent *.mpg files on the Mac looks like a stroboscope picture

What format did they start in?

Final Cut needs Quicktime-wrapped video files to edit natively. You should be able to export your media as Quicktime files in Premiere CS3.

As far as video codec is concerned, you should match the codec that the camera shot in, if possible. So for example, if the footage was shot in HDV, it should be exported as Quicktime that way.
