Electricpig.co.uk points to a recently-uploaded video showing a young Steve Jobs preparing for what seems to be his first television appearance.

The fidgeting Jobs is clearly nervous and amazed by the experience, revealing a side of the iconic CEO not seen in his polished public appearances in recent years. Jobs was clearly not feeling well for the appearance:
You need to tell me where the restroom is too, because I'm deathly ill, actually, and ready to throw up at any moment, so... I'm not joking.
According to the YouTube submitter, the video is believed to have been shot in approximately 1978 as Jobs was preparing to appear on San Francisco television station KGO.

What a cutie! :)

Listen closer. Sadly, he didn't say "because I'm definitely ill" he said "because I'm deathly ill."

A suite? Wow, that's quite a feat.

Ashton kutcher.

I haven't heard any more news since he took another leave for his health issues, hopefully he can beat this again and be able to return to apple! if he cannot return to apple on a full time basis, hopefully he can be a consultant to tim cook who im sure can run apple just fine! hopefully though he can beat this latest medical issue and be able to enjoy what he has left of his life!

Wow... It's really nice to see him look so impressed and awed by the whole production! Just seeing him get all excited over seeing himself on a TV screen was priceless. Much different than the Steve of the last decade.

But alas we all grow up and lose that child-like awe and wonder of the world. Unfortunately kids lose it earlier and earlier today with technology so prevalent in their lives. It seems that kids EXPECT to see themselves all over the net and on TV now.

I'm assuming what he meant by "deathly ill" was a stomach virus or some such thing, not something more permanent.

im sure kids today would be awe-struck by something like a hologram machine etc.

The making of a corporate Titan.
That was the 80's baby and all that sh** was brand effing new!
And who knew things were going to turn out the way they did
Damn!
And for all you tired little haters out there just remember Apple is an engineering company at its core. Sleep on that. Eat that.

Really refreshing to see a more human side of Steve! It's just interesting to think that someone that is so composed and powerful today was actually on the verge of throwing up just by being on TV back then.
