Video formats on iphoto

Has anyone tried to get videos to load on iphoto from the LUMIX DMC-ZS7 (Panasonic)? Its a AVCHD Lite HD video. I loaded all my photos but the video does not show up (it is not a .MOV or .AVI as far as I can see). Kate * *
