Video freeze while watching Youtube livestream

I have a late 2015 iMac 8gb ram running Big Sur.

It doesn't have any issues except watching youtube livestream (or twitch), the video will occasionally freeze and drop frame.
The CPU will spike to full load and after 10 to 20 seconds it'll goes back to normal. ( or the video will auto reload, only the video, not the whole webpage )

It usually happens when I'm mutli-tasking and the other tasks involve graphics (e.g. watching other youtube video, making power point etc )

Although it's an old machine and low on ram, I guess it's still more than capable to handle such simple tasks?
Moreover, I've tried to clean install Big Sur but it yields the same results. I suspect it's a hardware problem ?

Hi! I don't think that's a hardware problem, rather a lack of resources (8gb of ram may not be enough). You mentioned that this happened while you're multitasking, does the same thing happen when you're watching only one live stream? Don't worry, if it's about RAM you're mac should be upgradable)
