G'day all,
I'm trying to produce a video on iMovie to send home as a christmas message. However all the videos that I've taken on holiday have been with my digital camera - not a camcorder. They show up fine in in iPhoto and play perfectly with Quicktime/FrontRow. However they do not show up as an option in iMovie.

How do I import these videos or is it not possible to bring in video from anything except a camcorder:confused:

I've got all the latest apple updates (including OS X 10.4.8) and the camera is an Olympus Stylus 710 (a.k.a. mju 700). Tech specs here: http://www.olympusamerica.com/cpg_section/product.asp?product=1224&fl=4

Cheers.

Try dragging them straight from iphoto into your clips pane in iMovie. But not all videos from still digital cameras work.

Exactly what I was going to say...should work fine too.
