How do I rip some video and audio off one of my dvds? I want to use it in a imovie project! :D

*sighs*

Thanks for the reply, but that just puts the dvd files on my computer...

Not what I need. I have a app called Audio Hijack. (google it). I need something like that but for video.

HandBrake will allow you to encode the dvd files.

You can convert it for your iPod or whatever. Then you will have to just open it up in iMovie and do the editing yourself. Make sure you choose a quality that is good enough for your movie.

Even giving It away violates copywright/fairuse law this is part of what got napster In trouble, of course tring to wade through current fairuse law Is akin to jumping Into a pit of hungry dogs(lawers)wearing a meat suit, but I believe your safe If you own the dvds your editing your compilation from and don't give It away to anyone.
So far personnel use Is still O.K.
