I agree with this totally - you learn how to do things, solve problems. Taking a test that's multiple choice is crap for learning - especially if you have a chance to guess the answer.
When I have kids they'll be playing games and they'll have some competition from me....
I learned alot from video games especially in recent days
for instance if you take a turn on a motorcycle at like 200 mph and go straight into a walll...you get back up and finish the race....similarly i learned how to double clutch and that if i crackup my c ar, all i havce to do is wait 10s and its remade ....
i wish he existed when i was younger...my mom would always yell at me to stop playing with games and stuff
