Our church has a 2010 MBP with FireWire & USB inputs. We want to capture live video from a Sony HD camera that has mini HDMI output, then output to pro presenter. My question is what cable do I need to connect the camera to the MBP? Thank you for your help!

Does the Sony have a Flash card or something similar inside, if so it is much better and easier to use a card reader and import the content into the MBP, otherwise you need an expensive A/V converter box.

Thanks for the reply. Yes it has an SD card which is currently the way we do it. We want to start displaying live video of the band & pastor , in real time , on the screen, and using that as the background in Propresenter. Any solutions? Thanks in advance!
