Video input

I'm a bit ingorant as to how this works, but I am planning on buying a 360 or ps3. Will it be possible to connect them to my 13" Macbook and use my screen here to play games on?

No. The laptops don't support video input.

There are solutions (such as the eyeTV) that will support video input over USB, but only at standard definition at the moment for things like the PS3/360. They also suffer from input lag.

I'd probably recommend a Dell monitor, they have plenty of inputs for things asides from monitors.
